Any other comments regarding CentOS on your laptop:

• work in progress...

• backport of sky2 from 2.6.23.17 seems to work alpha quality, but works for me

• ath5k seems to be available in the next 5.x release, meanwhile the madwifi driver works

• to be able to properly use the sound card (disable the speaker upon plugin the hearphones) you need to use the solution provided in the Eeepc page
