2. Wired network card
This Vaio model has a Marvel card that is not directly supported by the 2.6.18 kernel but only with 2.6.33 onwards. However you can use the kmod-sk98lin package from the ELRepo repository and your LAN card will then work with CentOS 5.x
3. Sound Card
Similar for the sound card. Unsupported with the kernel's ALSA driver but you can update it by installing the kmod-alsa package (version 1.0.23, minimum) from the ELRepo repository and your sound card will then work.
4. SD/SDHC/MS card reader
Again, the 2.6.18 kernel couldn't support SDHC card but if you install the kmod-mmc package from the ELRepo repository it will then work.
