Infrastructure SIG

The CentOS Infrastructure SIG will provide a working group to manage all CentOS infrastructure. It will be responsible for oversight of all infrastructure resources, and providing guidelines for who may be granted administrative access to shared services.
1. Goals
- Provide clear guidelines of who can be determined competent and trustworthy to give system rights to shared community resources (eg. root on servers)
- Understand and document the range of infrastructure resources (physical hardware, cloud services, and donated services/hardware) the project consumes, and plan for sustainability of those resources
- Provide standard tools, best practices, and documentation, to homogenize those resources and make volunteering across the ecosystem more portable

3. Meetings
The Infrastructure SIG will meet bi-weekly on Mondays @ 1400 UTC on #centos-meeting channel on IRC. We will discuss all tickets and requests relating to the CentOS Infrastructure SIG here. Participation, both passive and active, from those interested are more than welcome.
